Mares

The Al Waha brood mares are, in the main, of English and Russian bloodlines and considered to be the most important part of the stud. Most mares are covered at home but occasionally, a mare is sent to an outside stallion such as Gai Warsaw with the resulting filly Inass (from Ivory Wings by Silver Blue), a major show winner and successful broodmare for her owners.
The most successful breeding family is that of Dancing Queen (Dancing King x Ludmilla by Ludo), a Crabbet mare, now 22 years old with many of her children and grandchildren still at the stud such as Daas (Imad x Dancing Queen), Dahisha (Imad x Dancing Queen), Queen's Topaz (by Midnight Gold)...

Maysuna (Haroun x Mandahyla by Indian Magic), a Reserve British National Champion, is a most important mare at the stud, breeding show and race winners such as Maymunah, Maliya, Mansoor, Mayza and Mais.

Her daughter Maliya (by Mag (Aswan x Magnolia)) is retained as her continuer and is just beginning her breeding career. She has won in the showring and on the race track with a 3rd place in the Mares' Championship.

Other 'English' mares are the Reserve British National Champion Amber Destiny (Midnight Gold x Royal Destiny by Ringing Gold) and her full sister Pearl of Destiny, dam of British National Champion Layth.

We also regard highly the two Silver Scenario (Tornado x Countess Nabor (USA)) daughters, Bint Nevidal (from Nevidal by Plakat) and Opera (from Karmen by Nasmeshnik). Bint Nevidal is the dam of Nayef (by Narim RASB), a British National Champion and half sister to Nader (by Narim RASB), a UKIAHS Reserve Champion Stallion and Qatar International Champion Stallion; she is also the dam of two track winners.

Vygoda (Murmansk x Pandora by Nabeg), Mania (Naslednik x Magia by Aswan), Pra (Aswan x Pamiatka by Arax), Mimoza (Mustang x Mushmula by Aswan), Vyp (Neapol x Psisha by Salon) and Mirath (Vatikan x Mimoza by Mustang) are in our Russian brood mare band.
